However, greens are fundamental to Sakara and play a prominent role in most meals because they are one of the best things you can put into your body. Greens are rich in fiber, plant protein, antioxidants and must-have minerals. They feed your microbiome (the beneficial bacteria in your gut), assist in the detoxification process and they’re super-hydrating to give your skin a youthful glow. We pack 3-4 oz of greens in each lunch and dinner in a variety of forms (raw, shredded, sautéed, wilted, baked, etc.). Eating so many greens may feel challenging at first, but it's where your most life-changing results will come from.
